Jeff Julian

Jeff Julian

Coaching, clinics, consulting & mentorship, speaking, and author of The Process of Hope

Jeff Julian brings decades of experience as a swimmer, coach, and program leader. A former U.S. National Team swimmer and coach, his career has included leading Rose Bowl Aquatics, serving as head coach of the ISL's Cali Condors, and developing the Mission Viejo Nadadores' professional and postgraduate performance program.

Through Work the Process, Jeff helps swimmers, coaches, and organizations turn experience and thoughtful conversation into practical next steps. His approach begins with listening: understanding the people, the situation, and what matters before building a path forward together.

As the author of The Process of Hope, Jeff also shares lessons from his cancer journey and a life in competitive sport. His coaching, consulting, and speaking reflect a shared belief: hope can spark possibility, and the process gives us a way to keep moving.

Trenton Julian

Coaching and clinics

Trenton Julian brings firsthand experience of collegiate and international racing to Work the Process. A former University of California, Berkeley swimmer, he has represented the United States at World Championships, earned world championship gold, and helped set world records in both the 4×200-meter freestyle and 4×100-meter medley relays at the 2022 Short Course World Championships.

Through coaching and clinics, Trenton shares an athlete's perspective on technique, race preparation, and the daily work behind performance. His sessions give swimmers an opportunity to ask questions, explore skills, and connect what they practice with how they race.
